• - A Message From Stephen Adams - As you may recall, at the beginning of last season I planned to step back from our team and transfer ownership. I kind of, sort of did lol. Over the past season, I had several individuals inquire about the team and what ownership would entail. There were two very credible proposals presented to me. After hours of back and forth with myself, a few sleepless nights and others whereby I would wake up at 3:00 am, I came to a decision yesterday. I wanted to ensure our players, coaching staff and the proponents were notified. I am pleased to announce that Harlin Hayes will be assuming management of our team. Harlin has played pro hockey, attended the Dallas Stars camp twice, coached National, Atlantic and Provincial junior championship teams, and played with the Mooseheads. This transfer is subject to league approval, whereby 6 of the 8 teams must agree. I will remain with the team throughout the season to ensure a smooth transition.  I look forward to another successful season and seeing you at the rink.

 

• - We are thrilled to announce that two of our goaltenders from last year, Tye Bentley and Tristan Bourdages have committed to play with your Spryfield Junior Hockey Club for the upcoming 2025-26 season. Their commitment to excellence and dedication to our team has not gone unnoticed.

 

• - We are pleased to announce that Ryan MacIntyre has committed to our team for the upcoming 2025-2026 season. Ryan brings with him experience at the Junior A, B and C leagues. His work ethic, passion and incredible scoring will bring our team to a new level.
• - This season, teams in our league are permitted to carry 6 overage (21 year old) players; which is an increase from last years' maximum of 4. We are excited to announce that Roman Joseph , Joe Power, Nathan MacHardie, Chase Guthro, Phil Ballard and Daniel Bar have committed to return to our club. We are certainly shaping up to be highly competitive this season.
• - 6 more players from last year have committed to return to our club this year. Rannie MacKinnon, Daniel Fallows, Braden Forewell, Chase Williams, and Jack Girard are excited to return. For those who would like to try out, there are several roster spots available. If you played Junior hockey last year, you will need a written release before we are permitted to speak with you

  September 13th – 8pm – 9pm (Sackville Arena)
  September 16th – 9pm -10pm (Centennial Arena)
  September 18th – 9:30pm - 10:30pm (Sackville Arena)
  
  Cost of tryouts this year will be $75. We will be making cuts after the September 18th session. If you played for another junior team last year, you will need a written release from that team before you can participate.
